My Best Personal Development Posts For 2013

2014Happy New Years to you!

It just happened that this post is published on the first of the year, so I thought it would be the perfect time to remind you of the best personal development posts of the year on this blog.

After having taken a break last week, I was actually eager to publish some content today, whether you’d come to read it or not.

Before I go into the post here is some information if you’re new here.

Life Coaching

Since I’m going to go back in time, I wanted to make a few announcements.  First off, for those who don’t know it yet or are coming here for the first time, I am a Life Coach, and this blog is actually the support of my life coaching as well as my way of showing you my expertise in the personal development area.

For those who like to see certifications and stuff like that, these type of things are coming as well, and you will be able to see them soon.

I recently put a testimonial page up where you can read and listen to what some people have said about my coaching. I will add some up over the year as I get more and more positive testimonials about my life coaching.

Also, maybe you’ve noticed the new custom made testimonial banner on the side bar which is linked to my testimonial page as well.

The Blog

For the blog, it’s my intent to publish even more educational posts over 2014 which will help you to truly understand that you don’t have to live your life as a by stander, letting your it to sort of just happen to you, but rather, living a life by design.

I actually recently published a post titled How to Create your Perfect Life – Part One.  I will continue this series in the few coming weeks and months.

If you feel that you may need more than just reading a blog post (and most of us do) in order to make some real progress in your life, you can read the post I’ve publish early in 2013 which explains how a life coach can help you.

Most Viewed Posts

I will start by my 3 most viewed posts which happen to be 3 of my most recent ones too. I guess I’ll take that as a good sign. Those posts are:

  1. Are you living your life on autopilot?
  2. Positive Thinking Infographic
  3. 10 wonderful ways of giving that won’t cost you a dime

My Personal Favorite Posts and those that Got Lots of Good Comments

How much impact do you words have on your children? Have you ever wonder about this?

I’m sure you probably know by now, if you are a regular reader of this blog, that our subconscious mind is formed mostly between the ages of 0 and 7 years old. As parents we are 99% responsible for making sure that the subconscious mind of our kids will work to their advantage, rather than disadvantage.  In this post I discuss in detail how what we feed to our children (mentally) is so important.

Can success be planned? Not only it can, but there are many recipes for success out there. Some of which the successful people giving them out to the public have used themselves. In this post I show you ways of how you can plan for your success.

Are you still missing the point about the Law of attraction? While the law of attraction is becoming more and more understood and talked about than ever before, let’s be honest, most people are still pretty confuse about it. The easiest way to notice this is by their words and actions.

Your mind is powerful and can make a ton of difference in your life. Do you have any doubt about the power of your mind? If yes, you may be in danger without knowing it. Please, read my post about the power of the mind to attract incompetents beware.

I guess it’s no secret that successful people take different actions than unsuccessful ones, don’t they? In this post I discussed 5 fundamental steps you should take to become successful. Give it a read if you need some clarity about this.

At times we realize that while we may want one thing, we go the opposite way, and our actions go against the very things that we want. Have you ever thought about doing something very strongly, and yet ending up doing something totally opposite? I think we’ve all done that.  Here is a post that is explaining you why we don’t always agree with our own actions.

As I’m sure you know, your subconscious mind is the part of “your mind” that runs the show. If what’s programmed in there is not helping you, it means that you need to reprogram your subconscious mind. In the post I give you some steps on how to reprogram the subconscious mind.

This post is one that people really like, because it made it so clear to them.  If the law of attraction is still fuzzy in your mind, if you still don’t quite understand what it is, give this post a read: The law of attraction for doubtful.

Negative and useless beliefs should be disposed of as soon as we can. The earliest we do this in our life the better off we will be. So here is a step by step to dispose of old and useless beliefs.

Here is a list of brain wave entertainment that I use to help me move forward with what I want to accomplish in my life. This post will give you a great list of what you can do to improve your life in all areas.

If you haven’t read all of these post, or maybe any, I encourage you to give them a read to start off the year 2014 on the right foot and make this year the best one ever.

Have a wonderful New Year with plenty of success and achievements.

  1. Hi Sylviane,

    Awesome indeed 🙂

I liked the way you chalked out the best post for last year so well, and I think I’ve read all of them and of course, enjoyed them as well. I didn’t think you’d put up a post right on the first of this year itself, which is commendable. I’m still taking it easy and busy planning things for my blog too – newness all around with new hopes, isn’t it?

Thanks for sharing this with us, and I wish you every joy and success in this year. Happy New Year 🙂

    1. Hi Harleena,

Well, thank you for coming here considering you’re still taking it easy yourself too 🙂

I decided to post anyway, because the previous Wednesday being Christmas I didn’t post at all and this would have been the second week in a row, and I thought it would be too long of a break for the blog itself and my ranking. So, basically that’s why I decided to go ahead and publish a post this week.

Thank you so much for being a regular to this blog, Harleena, and have a wonderful New Year!

  3. Hi Sylviane,

Happy New Year. I like that your first post of the new year gives us a summary of what’s to come. Great way to start the year and get people coming back for more.

In addition, you’ve defined what you have to offer. I was talking to someone the other day and we talked about what keeps people coming back. I think you played it perfectly in this post. Told the old, told them the new and upcoming.

Great first post for the new year. Good luck with your coaching and your business in 2014.

Hope you had a wonderful new year’s day!
    Cheers,
    Barbara

    1. Hi Barbara,

Nice to see you here and sorry for the late reply. Still trying to put myself back in the mood of blogging slowly.

Yes, it’s always good to give a bit of the old and something new as well. You’re right, I think that’s what people like.

Thanks for coming by and have a very happy new year!

  4. The ways of giving is still by favorite one!

Got a question… Got any posts where you talk about how went about becoming a life coach?

    1. Hi Sebastian,

Did you mean if I have any post that talks about how to become a life coach? If that is your question, I do have an old one, but it’s so old I’m not sure if it’s really good. In the past my blog posts were not as good as they are now.

Let me know if that is not the question you were asking.
