10 Great French Restaurants For You Next Visit To France

Linternaute.com
Le Nord – Linternaute.com

I’m not going to lie to you, It’s a known fact that French restaurants are rather expensive.  Not only here in the US, but in France as well. I guess that’s because of the “value tag” that has been put on French food.

Today I wanted to give you a list of French restaurants in 4 French cities. South, South West, East and North of France.  If you like this type of information , over time I’ll cover more more restaurants in other areas of France.

Some of you may know that I’m From Lyon, which is nicknamed the “Capital of Gastronomy” so you can only imagine that Lyon has a lot of restaurants.

Let’s not forget that Lyon is also the city of origin to one of most famous Chefs in the world, Paul Bocuse who owns several restaurants there. So, let start with that dear city of mine.

In this post, you are going to discover 10 great French Restaurants that you may want to visit if you happen to pass by any of those areas on your next visit.

So, let’s start..

Le Nord

Brasserie Le Nord

  1. Hi Sylviane,

I always wanted to to visit France. I took 10 years of French and used to be able to speak fluently and always wanted to go to France. The above look interesting. I think I’d like to go to Brasserie Leon de Lyon first. Looks exciting and appealing. The other one I like is La Table du Lancaster because I like modern and chic. One day maybe soon I’ll get there!

    Thanks for sharing. Looks fabulous!

  2. Wow Sylviane, they all sound great but I think I’d love to enjoy a great dinner by the water. Of course for me not really having eaten French food before I wouldn’t know what’s good and what’s not but if it’s upon your recommendation then I know any of these would be wonderful.

They all look and sound great. Thanks for these shares so now I have to get myself to France.

    1. Hi Adrienne,

I would sure love to take you and other gals who enjoy this blog to one of those restaurants. I know the one by the sea is really cool.

I have a friend here who is originally from Ivory Cost, Africa, and who lived in France from age 14 to 22, so he is really part French and always wants us to go back for a visit. That would be really cool if we’d all go together one day.

      Thanks for coming 🙂

    Thanks Sylviane!
